Letty is one of the UK’s most exciting and versatile French horn players, with her career spanning across a wide variety of genres.
Letty is currently undertaking research towards her PhD in Music Archaeology (to be completed in 2030) at the University of Manchester and National Museums Scotland.
Her work focuses on ancient forms of horn and the role these instruments might have had with the societies they came from. Letty's research informs her performance on modern-day copies of instruments such as Karnyx, Lituus, Cornu and Salpinx.
Letty has worked with many of the UK's leading orchestras and opera companies and has performed and toured with a huge variety of artists.
She has recorded as a session musician for TV and film scores and has performed globally on a range of diverse projects.
Letty has always believed that music performance and education go hand in hand and throughout her career, she has aimed to reach as many children and young people as possible.
